What an inspiring morning at the launch of The Social Brokers evaluation report.
A big thank you to Paul Walmsley for the invitation. It was a privilege to hear from Lord John Bird, founder of Big Issue, Dr Susan Giles, forensic psychologist & Professor Helen Stalford, a leading expert in European children’s rights from University of Liverpool.
Each speaker brought a fascinating perspective and helped bring to life the importance and impact of the work Social Brokers is doing.
The Junior Social Brokers were outstanding too. Their energy, confidence and genuine enthusiasm to get involved and create positive change absolutely blew us away. They were a real credit to themselves and everyone supporting them.
The passion and determination in the room were incredible. Social Brokers is empowering so many people across our local community and beyond not simply talking about making a difference, but genuinely making it happen.
We came away feeling quite humbled by the scale of their work and ambition to create an even greater impact.
